Pee.Ess.

You should check out PostSecret. I still haven't figured out what makes me love it so much... I just do.

Maybe it's the sense that someone is telling me their secrets... that someone trusts me. It feels nice, especially when I have friends that don't even trust me. Maybe it's the fact that right there on that screen, there's something, be it work of art or almost post-it quality, that I can relate to. It makes me feel a little more human. Maybe it's simply the fact that I really like hearing juicy gossip, even if I don't know who it's about.

My guess would be a combination of the three.

  1. Hey Norah. :]
Although I don't comment as often as I'd like, I too read everyone of your posts. I told you that from the start...waaaay back lol. Remember? xD

Anyways, yeah, I love post secret too. Just because...I don't know, it's interesting reading everyone else's secrets. I can't explain it haha.

Is this a typo? It's in the second sentence of the second paragraph of your post.

"It feels nice when I have friends that don't even trust me."

  2. Well... it isn't exactly a typo, but reading over the sentence, I realize that it doesn't exactly flow right. I think I'll go fix that. :)

  4. Hahah, love the post. I love Post Secret to! And ya know, they actually brought the whole PS thing to my college, and everyone submitted things, and then there was a huge exhibit where we could read about others' secrets. It was pretty darn revealing.
    lol.
Have you ever heard of fmylife.com? It's also pretty addicting-- and about random people's embarrassing moments. hehe.

Be sure and pop by & leave a note!

  5. Maybe you subconciously love make-shift postcards. Maybe we all do. That's the actual appeal of PostSecret.

  6. @laila: Yeah, I LOVE FML! My friend has an iPhone, and he uses the application to read FMLs our lunch group pretty often (during the school year, of course).
